Brockhampton is an American hip hop collective founded in 2010 as AliveSinceForever in San Marcos, Texas. Led by Kevin Abstract and formed partially through online music discussion forum KanyeToThe, Brockhampton is a self-described “boy band“, so-called in an effort to redefine the term. Complex magazine describes the group as “gay, black, white, DIY, ambitious, all-inclusive, and would-be pop stars,” and this diversity is what largely distinguishes their lyrics and sound. The group’s final line-up consisted of vocalists Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, and Dom McLennon, vocalists/producers Joba, Bearface, and Jabari Manwa and producers Romil Hemnani and Kiko Merley, as well as graphic designer Henock “HK” Sileshi, photographer Ashlan Grey, web designer Roberto Ontenient (who also featured prominently in voice skits), and manager Jon Nunes, and this time, they Embark on their musical career to release this phenomenal album track titled “The Family” which is here for your pleasing audience and Free MP3 Download on our platform, Mixloaded.com.

The Family is BROCKHAMPTON’s seventh and penultimate album. It follows their 2021 album, ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE and is their first and last album following the announcement of their “indefinite hiatus” on January 14, 2022.

Following the band’s final live performance at Coachella on April 16th, 2022, a video was played on stage with a message at the end that read “THE FINAL ALBUM 2022.”

The video was later uploaded onto their official YouTube channel, titled “MESSAGE FROM BROCKHAMPTON”.

Band leader Kevin Abstract would go on to confirm the album’s release in a tweet the next day. Six months later, Abstract began teasing the album again with various cryptic tweets, prompting fans to figure out what the initials “TF” stood for. The profile pictures for the band’s social media pages were also changed to a painting of a person with a bag over their head stamped with a BROCKHAMPTON logo:

On October 27th, 2022, a trailer was posted to BROCKHAMPTON’s YouTube channel titled “I Miss the Band Already.” It featured a compilation of some of the band’s biggest moments with Kevin singing about how much the band means to him.

Moments later, Abstract revealed the initials “TF” to be shorthand for the album’s title, and the album’s cover art and release date were revealed as well. An additional teaser video for The Family was also posted to the band’s YouTube channel.

On November 3rd, 2022, 2 short teaser videos for the single “Big Pussy” were released on Kevin Abstract’s Twitter, revealing the track would be released that night alongside a music video.

The track list & back cover were revealed 3 days prior to the official release on the band’s official Instagram & Twitter pages.

The day the album released the group uploaded a final teaser on YouTube titled “IT ALL COMES OUT IN THE WASH”
