Brockhampton is an American hip hop collective founded in 2010 as AliveSinceForever in San Marcos, Texas. Led by Kevin Abstract and formed partially through online music discussion forum KanyeToThe, Brockhampton is a self-described “boy band“, so-called in an effort to redefine the term. Complex magazine describes the group as “gay, black, white, DIY, ambitious, all-inclusive, and would-be pop stars,” and this diversity is what largely distinguishes their lyrics and sound. The group’s final line-up consisted of vocalists Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, and Dom McLennon, vocalists/producers Joba, Bearface, and Jabari Manwa and producers Romil Hemnani and Kiko Merley, as well as graphic designer Henock “HK” Sileshi, photographer Ashlan Grey, web designer Roberto Ontenient (who also featured prominently in voice skits), and manager Jon Nunes, and this time, they Embark on their musical career to release this whooping track titled “MAN ON THE MOON” which is here for your pleasing audience and Free MP3 Download on our platform, Mixloaded.com.
MAN ON THE MOON was first teased in the band’s Technical Difficulties live stream on May 30, 2020, at the time the track was titled “Los Angeles” and took a more melancholic approach. The official version is very similar to the original, except now it features a verse from Matt & a bridge from JOBA, they’ve also added some more up-tempo drums as well as a dance break at the end.
