He probably didn’t see it, but then we met in Portugal and I was like, “Oh my God, this is crazy,” and then I went to see him at Coachella. Then we started talking on social media and then he was like, ‘Oh come to the studio, we’re working on the new record,’ which I think was Shore at the time. We just hung out, looked at all these cool instruments these guys had, and they were recording everything on this amazing tape machine and it was great. So I said, ‘Okay, hey, how about you come over? We just jammed and rocked and rolled,’ and it was really great. And he was like, ‘You know, I’ve been working on this,’ and then he starts playing it and doing the vocal part, and I was like, ‘That’s awesome.’ He gave me the album, I didn’t even ask, it’s the best in the world.
